Hi, my name is Hanna!
I’m a Multidisciplinary Designer/Art Director who is going to be your next collaborator. I worked and studied in Tokyo, NYC, and Boston,
now based in Honolulu.
What I do is solving problems through communication strategies
and creating solid brand narratives, backed by 10+ years of design/management experience in the US and Japan.
I love working around communication design, building brands, and weirdly enough, coding. Outside my professional time, I enjoy snoozing with my great dane pup, Danton.
After starting my career as a packaging designer in Tokyo, I expanded my role into branding design as an in-house creative. There, I managed relations with internal and external stakeholders, building a creative team from scratch. Eventually, taking the leap to pursue my graduate studies at Pratt Institute, I left Tokyo and has continued her career as an in-house Designer/Art Director in the United States.
Culturally bilingual, my passion is creating bridges between Japan and North America through visual communication that transcends language and borders. I am now taking time off to expand my skill set and explore freely the realm of digital design at the New Media Arts Program.
